Trying to capture the beauty of one of the oldest theatre, Regal Theatre

Regal Theatre is the oldest cinema in Connaught Place Area constructed by the architect Walter Sykes George. The theatre opened in 1935. In line with the current trends the theatre is getting renovated into a multiplex. For preservation/records the team of Mrs. Smita Mukhija (Avesana Architects) needed the exact 3D replica of the existing theatre. This could be done by scanning the whole theatre and then importing the point cloud image in specifically designed post processing software. This job was done by Shotam Instruments Private Limited (SIPL) by scanning that original structure with Geoslam’s Zeb-REVO 3D laser scanner. Shotam Instruments Pvt. Ltd.
